All about me...

This page is all about me. So if you're ready to take a tour on the ride of my life, get ready, get set, here we go!

I was born April 9, 1987 in Secaucus, NJ. I grew up in Jersey City since I was brought home after I was born. The house I grew up in was the house my mother grew up in. I have two sisters: Christina and Caitlin. Christina is 26 years old and lives in Texas. Caitlin is 18 years old and is graduating from high school this coming June.

Although my parents would admit that I was a "Stepford" child, I had my moments of fun when I was a kid. My cousin, Meaghan, and I were inseperable. She was nine months older than me, so it was easy to get along with each other considering we were practically the same age. We really did get ourselves into sticky situations, no pun intended. When we were three, we though it would be hilarious to be "invisible" to scare our parents. We took a bottle of baby powder and covered our tiny selves in white as we left a traces of our secret invisibility all around the house. One of our other adventures included sleigh riding down a stair case. Again, we though we'd have a good time inside the house because it was too cold to go outside. I took a sled and rode my way down my Aunt Joyce's staircase and went through a glass door. Was I hurt? No way! I went and did it again. This comes to a another time when I wanted to see if it were possible to burp bubbles. I drank half a gallon of solo laundry detergent, and with poison control on the other line, my Aunt Joyce could do nothing but laugh. And although I managed to get myself into a few little mishaps, I really was a good child.

Some of the things that people don't know about me is that I was a gymnast when I was a child, I played softball for 13 years, and I have a fascination with decorating and baking. My life revolved around softball because all the girls in my family played the sport. My sister and I were a pitcher-catcher team. I had to stop gymnastics in order to do softball since it turned into a year-round sport for us. In high school, I joined the volleyball and swim teams as well as the softball team. As well as being athletic, I was always the studious one and joined a few clubs to keep me busy with the time I had to spare. My face was always familiar with the Student Ambassador club, the Harvester (school newspaper), the Relay for Life organization (cancer walk), and the National Honor Society my junior and senior years. Senior year I was even elected to be the President of the National Honor Society. I guess some people would call me an over-achiever. I just say I like to keep busy.

When it came time to choose a college, I pondered between Rowan University and Saint Peter's College. Although I was accepted into the prestigious Elementary Education program at Rowan, I chose SPC because the swim coach accepted me with open arms onto the team. For two years I've been part of the team which I proudly call my second family. And since I was a gymnast back in the day, I asked the diving coach to give me a chance. Again, with open arms, he gave me a try and diving became one of my passions.

In the future, I hope to get a job in web design, or something along those lines. I would also love to open a bakery on the side so I can have a little fun owning a business that I love to do in my spare time.
